Vampire Corpses In Poland

Bodies found during a construction site dig show the decapitated corpses with their heads between their legs. In the 17th and 18th century cutting the head off of an alleged vampire was a means of keeping them from rising from the dead. Sometime an iron stake was driven through the corpse or a brick was forced into it's mouth to achieve the same result.
